I recently went to New Life Community Project, in the slum of Uthiru, North West Nairobi. I was donating some clothes, footballs and a cricket set that were given to me by RBS Commercial in Bristol as a leaving present.
The kids loved the t-shirts, despite the slogans on the back (which caused me much embarrassment!). They had a rather chaotic game of football, with long-ball tactics that reminded me of watching Bristol City play. I also attempted to teach them how to play cricket, which was trickier than I expected as they had never even seen the game being played.
