Lake Naivasha


For our 1st trip out of Nairobi we decided to go to Lake Naivasha, about 2hrs drive from Nairobi. 8 of us stayed in a big tent at Camp Carnelleys. The video above shows some footage from our boat trip on the lake: 2 fish eagles picking up fish which our guide had thrown into the lake.

After a month in dusty Nairobi, the fresh air, scenery and spectacular wildlife of Lake Naivasha was welcome relief and timely reminder of how much Kenya has to offer.
